Traditional Weathervanes
Good to know before you buy
Four classic metal weather vanes in black powder-coated steel, each about 80 to 93cm tall, for houses and outbuildings. They come boxed with a universal clamp bracket and all the fixings, so they make a good present too.
The designs
The Cockerel, the classic weathercock, at 930mm. The Arrow, with an ornate scrolled centre, at 830mm. Cat chasing mice, with mice perched on the compass letters, at 800mm. And the Ploughing Horse, a farmer and heavy horse beside a windmill, at 800mm.
Fitting
The 10mm steel stem can stand straight up or be cranked out from a wall, using the universal clamp bracket in the box. For the top of a post or another flat surface, we suggest adding the post bracket.
A finish you can make your own
The black powder coat is made for outdoor use, and the steel can be painted if you’d like something different.
Traditional or Oakley?
For a shed or fence post, our smaller Oakley weather vanes come in some of the same designs, including the cockerel and cat and mouse, at about 45 to 55cm tall.
Is delivery free?
Yes. Every Traditional weather vane is over £50, so delivery to the UK mainland is free (excluding the Highlands and islands).
