This notice explains how Espira (UK) Limited, trading as Simply Weathervanes, uses your personal information. We're the data controller, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZB155751. What we collect

  • Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and delivery addresses.
  • Order details: what you bought, when, and how much you paid. Card payments are handled by Shopify's payment service, and we never see your full card number.
  • Messages: emails, calls and messages you send us.
  • Website use: pages viewed, device and browser type, and your IP address, collected through cookies (see below).

Who we share it with

We only share what's needed with companies that help us run the shop:

  • Shopify, our website, checkout and payment provider
  • DPD, Royal Mail and Parcelforce, to deliver your order
  • Our email marketing provider, if you've signed up
  • Our accountants and professional advisers

We never sell your information. Some of these providers process data outside the UK, for example Shopify in Canada, Ireland and the United States. When they do, it's protected by UK adequacy regulations or approved contract clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and invoices: 6 years, for tax and accounting.
  • General enquiries: up to 2 years.
  • Marketing: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. You can also ask us to restrict or stop using it, object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. You can withdraw consent at any time. Contact us to make a request, and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
