Changed your mind? You can return any item within 30 days of the day it's delivered. This includes sale items.

How to return an item

  1. Tell us within 30 days of delivery. Email enquiries@simplyweathervanes.co.uk, call 01536 268630, or use the cancellation form below. Please include your order number.
  2. Send the item back to us within 14 days of telling us: Simply Weathervanes Returns, Unit H2, Courtyard 3, Eckland Lodge Business Park, Desborough Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 8HB.
  3. Pack it well, ideally in its original box, and keep your proof of postage. We recommend a tracked service.

Return postage

If you're returning an item because you changed your mind, you pay the cost of sending it back. Smaller items can usually go by post. Larger Farmhouse and Cottage weathervanes may need a courier, which typically costs up to about £15.

Your refund

  • We refund you within 14 days of receiving the item back, or of you showing proof you've sent it, whichever is sooner.
  • Within 14 days of delivery (your legal right to cancel): we refund the item price plus the original standard delivery charge. If you return only part of an order, we refund the delivery charge only if you'd have qualified for free delivery without the returned item.
  • From day 15 to day 30 (our extended returns): we refund the item price. The original delivery charge isn't refunded.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method. There is no fee.
  • You can handle an item as you would in a shop to see if it's right. If it's been used or fitted, or damaged by handling beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.

Faulty or damaged items

If an item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us as soon as you can, with a photo if possible. We'll pay to collect it or refund your postage, and offer a replacement, repair or refund in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These rights apply on top of our 30-day returns and aren't affected by them.

Cancellation form

You don't have to use this form, but you can copy it into an email or a letter.
